What You Can Expect
- Old and New Designations on the Certificate: 06Cr19Ni10 = formerly 0Cr18Ni9 = ASTM 304. All three are printed side by side, so customs and design institutes don't have to cross-reference.
- Thickness 0.3–60 mm, width up to 2000 mm; 2B / BA cold-rolled, No.1 hot-rolled, and HL / 8K / embossed for finished surface plate.
- Certificates can be issued to GB/T, or to EN 10204 3.1 in parallel; third-party inspection (SGS / BV) is arranged before shipment.
FAQ
Chemically they are equivalent and interchangeable. The difference is the assessment standard: GB/T 3280 versus ASTM A240. We print both designations on the certificate so neither customs nor drawing reviewers reject the shipment.
We take the stricter value for each element (usually carbon content and mechanical properties) and list both standard grades on the certificate, so a single shipment satisfies both markets.
